Ola Ismail is Ibrahim Ahmed A. Badran’s mother and one of IBF’s Founders. Ms. Ismail had volunteered in the Cancer Institute and Nasr Institute between the years 2000 and 2010. Since 2008 until today, she has been an esteemed board member in the Oasis Hope for Children with Cancer program and the Fayoum Teaching Hospital. With more than 20 years of experience in the educational field since 1995.
Dr. Ismail Badran is Ibrahim Badran’s younger brother and one of IBF Founders. Dr. Badran holds Dual Medical Qualifications from the UK and Egypt. His medical journey began by practicing as a Medical Doctor in Egypt in 2012 and completing his Core Medical Training in UK as well as becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2016. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Healthcare Management from the Imperial College London since the 2017/2018 semester.
Dr. Khalil Abd El Khalik is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Tabibi24/7. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Pediatrics as well as an MBBch from Cairo University. With a reputable history of achievements, Dr. Abd El Khalik is currently the Deputy Director of Cairo University’s Specialized Pediatric Hospital, the Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine of Cairo University, and a Private Practitioner since 2002.
Mr. Tamer Darwish leads a valued career in the field of investment at the Cairo-based private equity firm, Qalaa Holdings. Prior to Qalaa Holdings, he was the Head of Investor Relations at SODIC, the EGX-listed property developer, where he had served in the corporate finance division. Mr. Darwish holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering with a double specialization in Design and Industrial from AUC.
Prior to joining Wadi Degla, Moataz was a Managing Director at EFG Hermes, where he was responsible for the hybrid public and private investment strategy and managed the firm’s flagship MENA Long Term Value Fund ($500 Million). Moataz started his career as an investment banker, where he participated in a number of landmark transactions across several industries.
Moataz served as a board member in several organizations, including Tawfeer Ventures Ltd. (a Kazyon-branded hard-discount retail chain), Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services, Fridge Inc. (owner of “Zooba”), Crowd Analyser (social media monitoring platform), among others.
Moataz holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and is a graduate of Insead’s International Director’s Program.
Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer at Advanced Computer Technology (ACT).
Ali boasts over 10 years of experience in monitoring and managing financial and strategic performance, in addition to managing relationships with business stakeholders.
In 2020, Ali took over the management of Corporate Business Development, as well as the management of the company’s alliances, including its technology strategies and business partners.
This scope was in addition to the previous functions Ali was already managing, namely Corporate Marketing and Customer Experience functions. He successfully introduced new concepts in customer care management, driving it to be oriented towards focusing on the overall customer experience after working with ACT. He also fully overhauled the customer satisfaction evaluation system.Moreover, he worked on architecting the right brand identity and positioning for that would properly reflect the real equity the company has built ever since its foundationin 1988.
Ali was named a member of the company’s Strategy Committee to develop the company’s transformation strategy, for the period from 2016 to 2021. He has supervised the implementation of the company’s general strategy, as well as the restructuring, and revamp of the commercial system in general.
Ali joined ACT back in January 2015, where he started his work by forming a business to business partnership between ACT and a telecommunications operator, which was a great leap and a successful step in his career inside the company. Through this partnership, the two companies joined forces to provide integrated education management solutions for schools and universities.
Prior to joining the ACT team, Ali worked for Vodafone Egypt for four years in the Prepaid Consumer Segment Department, part of the Marketing Division. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing the prepaidcustomer base, which was the highest revenue contributor line of business at the time. This experience significantly exposed him to the field of marketing and business development.
Ali is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Egyptian Junior Business Association. Furthermore, he has several activities with civil society associations.
In 2010, Ali graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the American University in Cairo, majoring in Marketing, and minoring in Economics.
