Inauguration of Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation’s Specialized Clinic in Matrouh Governorate, Sponsored by Apache

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services in underserved areas, Matrouh Governorate witnessed, the inauguration of the Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation Specialized Clinic, sponsored by Apache.

The clinic, which is a result of the ongoing collaboration between Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation and Apache, was opened in the presence Apache’s deputy country manager, Chris Monk, representatives from Apache, Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation, and by several community leaders and sheikhs from Matrouh.

The new clinic includes a variety of medical departments designed to provide high-quality diagnostic and treatment services, along with community awareness programs aimed at promoting prevention and public health.

The launch is the culmination of a successful two-year partnership in the fields of medical service and community development. Through this collaboration, the Foundation and Apache have provided medical services to over 21,000 beneficiaries in Matrouh, organized 10 medical convoys, conducted 26 mobile clinic operation days, delivered 8,632 preventive health awareness sessions, and performed 66 surgeries.

This inauguration marks the beginning of the third year of partnership, representing a new milestone toward achieving sustainability in providing medical services to the people of Matrouh and ensuring continuous access to quality healthcare throughout the year, as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to expand its reach across Egypt.

Mrs. Ola Esmail, CEO of Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation, emphasized that this milestone represents a new phase of fruitful collaboration with Apache, stating: “What began as a mobile humanitarian initiative has today evolved into a fully equipped clinic offering specialized and sustainable medical services; a testament to our shared belief with Apache that serving humanity comes first.”

Chris Monk, Deputy Country Manager, Apache Asset in Egypt, expressed pride in continuing its collaboration with the Foundation: “Apache Corporation is honored to continue our partnership with the IBF and the opening of this new facility to service the people of Matrouh is a real testament to the vision and dedication of the IBF team to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of the community today and for future generations.  Empowering remote communities with accessible healthcare is not just a commitment: it’s a beacon of hope.  The medical convoys, alongside this new clinic bridges the gap between necessity and access, ensuring that quality care reaches where it’s needed most.”

The event concluded with a guided tour of the clinic, followed by an informal gathering with attendees to exchange ideas on enhancing future healthcare services in the governorate.

The Matrouh Clinic represents another important step in the Foundation’s journey to fulfill its vision of delivering healthcare to everyone in need, no matter how far, in partnership with organizations that believe in the importance of sustainability in charitable and medical work.
