The agreement included facilitating and dispatching of 4 specialized medical convoys for children in 4 different villages in Al- Sharqia Governorate
Cairo, January 2023: As a continuation of the fruitful collaboration between Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK – Egypt) one of Egypt’s fastest growing banks in Egyptian banking sector and Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation (IBF) for the second year in a row and in line with ABK – Egypt’s vision to support our children who are the nucleus of tomorrow and the expansion of spreading hope to a new Governorate. ABK – Egypt sponsored Four medical convoys for children in the most needy & underprivileged villages in Al – Sharqia Governorate during 2022.
The convoys provided quality medical care and treatment for 4596 children, with a total of 4596 medical examinations in the targeted villages in Al – Sharqia (Kafr El-Mahmoudia, Hehia , Gemeizet Bani Amro, Diyarb Negm, Al Namrut, Faqous and Mansheya Abou Amer, El Husseiniya). In addition to research of endemic diseases in the main specialties of pediatrics and providing free medicine through the IBF mobile clinic pharmacy with IBF medical team specializing in pediatrics medical field, dedicated volunteers and IBF operations team assisting them. On the other hand, awareness sessions were provided to 3099 children and their families on public health issues and healthy habits, which are provided by specialized qualified doctors.
It is worth mentioning that ABK – Egypt cooperated with Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation last two years 2021 & 2022 in Qalyubia and Al-Sharqia Governorates to dispatch 14 medical convoys, which provided quality medical care and services to 13,637 children with a medical checkups and general health awareness lectures for 11,288 beneficiaries.
For its part, IBF works continuously to provide quality medical care to the underprivileged areas and the most remote locations from services through constructive partnerships with individuals and success partners.
