Our Impact in Menya
Menya is known as the “Bride of Upper Egypt” – a large governorate with many villages, long distances, and families who often need to travel far for specialised care.
IBF opened its clinic in Menya on 28 February 2025 to serve as a reliable health anchor in the governorate, offering sustainable, close, and continuous care instead of one-off medical support.
In a short time, the clinic has become a trusted point for thousands of families, helping them access diagnosis and treatment without the cost and effort of travelling to distant hospitals.

About Minya
Menya is one of the biggest governorates in Upper Egypt – a mix of cities, towns, and many villages spread along the Nile and into the countryside.
It is known for its agriculture, industry, and ancient sites, and for large numbers of families living in areas where access to specialised healthcare is still limited.
Why Minya Matters
Menya is big, scattered, and full of villages that sit far from major hospitals. For many families, reaching specialised care can mean an entire day lost and money they cannot spare. A fixed clinic in Menya brings healthcare closer to where life actually happens – in the fields, towns, and villages along the Nile – and shows how a single reliable point of care can serve a very large governorate.
Thank you for being part of this journey
We believe healthcare is a basic right that should be available to everyone — no matter where they live.
