Our Impact in Fayoum
Fayoum is where our journey on the ground truly began.
It was the first governorate we served with medical convoys in 2014, and the home of our first satellite clinic in 2020.
Here, we tested our model of moving from one-off medical convoys to sustainable, close, and continuous care. Fayoum was also our pilot for telemedicine, which we now use across all our clinics.
Today, our clinic in Fayoum is a long-term health hub for families in nearby villages – for diagnosis, follow-up, and ongoing support.

About Fayoum
Fayoum is Egypt’s natural oasis in the north of Upper Egypt, known for Qarun Lake, fertile agricultural land, and a unique mix of villages, farms, and surrounding desert and ecotourism areas. Most families live in rural, densely populated communities that rely on agriculture, and many are far from large hospitals — which makes continuous, close-to-home healthcare especially important here.
Why Fayoum Matters
Fayoum is wide, rural, and scattered – with many families living in villages far from large hospitals or specialised services. Having a permanent clinic that has operated for hundreds of days here means breaking the barrier of distance and cost on a daily basis, and turning what used to be occasional medical support into a stable, trusted source of care in one of Egypt’s most rural governorates.
Thank you for being part of this journey
We believe healthcare is a basic right that should be available to everyone — no matter where they live.
