“Rabea’ Al Omr” (Arabic for Spring of Life) builds on the success of its first phase, serving over 1,000 beneficiaries with a second phase expanding into three new governorates.

Cairo, May: As part of the fruitful collaboration between the Ibrahim A. Badran Medical Charity Foundation (IBF) and QNB Egypt, the second phase of the “Rabea’ Al Omr” initiative has been launched. This phase builds on the success of the first phase of the initiative, which facilitated 11 medical convoys, served more than 1,016 beneficiaries, and provided 4,592 medical checkups in nursing homes and elderly shelters across Cairo, Giza, and Dakahlia. The project offered services in several medical specialties including internal medicine, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and dermatology. It also provided psychological support sessions for 435 eligible cases. Moreover, several patients were referred for 12 surgical procedures, fully funded by QNB Egypt, and sustainable medical care was provided to 50 cases at the Foundation’s clinic in Cairo over five months.

The second phase aims to expand into three new governorates: Menoufia, Qalyubia, and Fayoum, targeting 560 beneficiaries in selected care institutions through well-equipped medical convoys.

This partnership reaffirms QNB Egypt’s active role in corporate social responsibility initiatives and its long-standing strategic collaboration with the Ibrahim Ahmed Badran Foundation, working together to deliver quality medical and treatment services to the furthest reaches around Egypt.
