Our Impact in Luxor
Luxor is one of Egypt’s most famous cities – known worldwide for its history, but still home to many communities that struggle to access regular, specialized healthcare.
IBF opened its clinic in Luxor on 30 April 2023 to turn one-off medical support into stable, year-round care for families in the city and surrounding villages.
Since then, the clinic has become a trusted health point for thousands of people, offering diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up close to where they live, instead of relying only on crowded hospitals or long travel.

About Luxor
Luxor lies in the heart of Upper Egypt on the banks of the Nile.
It is known for its world-famous monuments – such as Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Valley of the Kings – and is one of Egypt’s most important tourist cities.
Behind this global image, many local families live in villages and districts that are far from specialized healthcare and rely on affordable, nearby services.
Why Luxor Matters
Luxor is world-famous for its monuments, but many of its residents still live in villages and neighbourhoods that struggle to access regular, affordable healthcare. A permanent clinic here helps close the gap between the city’s global image and the everyday needs of its people. It brings continuous care into a governorate where tourism and history often overshadow the quiet, ongoing demand for basic health services.
Thank you for being part of this journey
We believe healthcare is a basic right that should be available to everyone — no matter where they live.
